Penis Enlargement Surgery, or Penile Augmentation Surgery, as it is also known, has been around for a long, long time. The exact methods and techniques have in fact evolved over this time, but basically, you have two main techniques that have been practiced. One adds length, the other girth. Both are risky, and not necessarily effective. But we digress.
In order to lengthen the penis, the common practice involves making an incision above the penis, and then cutting the suspensory ligament, to allow more of the penis to protrude from the body. You can gain anywhere from 1-3 inches in this manner.
In order to increase penis girth, the fat is extracted from one area of the body, where you have a little extra, and then injected into the shaft of the penis. Or, sometimes the surgeon will actually graft skin and fat from an area, like the buttock or groin, remove a layer of skin from the shaft of the penis, and then replace it with grafted section. Both of these methods have risks and complications. The fat injections are less risky, but not so effective in the long-term. In short, the fat is often mostly re-absorbed into the body after several months. Scar tissue is also common, as well as an uneven or lumpy appearance that can result.
The fat graft is a more involved procedure, and can lead to infection and loss of sensation, which can certainly lead to a bad chronic case of ED, or Erectile Dysfunction.
Due to the risks, costs, and lack of overall effectiveness, we cannot recommend that you seek penis surgery. When it comes down to it though, you will make your own decisions, and we respect that. If you decide to go this route, you MUST seek out a highly experience physician. The physician must have performed hundreds of these procedures, and you MUST see the data on their success rates. The truth of the matter is that there are easier, far cheaper, much safer, and more effective ways to enlarge the penis. So why not pursue those instead? It's a no-brainer. The best of luck to you though whatever your decision!
